Here I wanted to accentuate the burls surface texture that usually gets sanded away to make smooth surfaces. Casting in clear aluminite resin allows us to see “inside” while adding excellent strength and durability.
Matched with a san mai Blade ground with performance geometry and you have a real knock out, visually and in use.
